Winter and Spring Schedule

We are still in need of two or three meeting places and the suggestion for a good book in April. So, if you have been wanting to get involved, now is the time. Leave your suggestions in the comment portion of this blog!

Feb. 9, Thaylene Rogers - "The Wednesday Letters” by Jason F. Wright, available at Costco, $7.99

Mar. 10, Jeannine Cartwright - “Laddie” A True Blue Story by Gene Stratton-Porter, available at Barnes and Noble abt $12-$15

April 14, we need a location and a book! I reserved "March" if we choose to read it. The Pulitzer-Prize winning novel by Geraldine BrooksMarch tells the story of the adventures of Mr. March , the father and husband of the "Little women" family. An ardent abolitionist , he decides to join the Union forces as a chaplain at the "old" age of 43. The war that was going to last several weeks turned into a horror of death ,disease and hardship .

May 12, Kris Hale - “The Alliance” by Gerald Lund, available at Seagull Book, $17.28

Many of these books are available at the libraries and Sisters in the ward are willing to share.

Is the new book club books announced yet? I was hoping I didn't miss Oct.

I'd be happy to be a host place.
